Westside Wine By You (formally Westside u Brew) was established in 1992 by Gord and Deb Craig. It was the first brew/vin on premise started on the westside of the bridge. Quickly building a solid relationship with westside customers we became known as the place to make your own beer or wine.
We specialize in helping our customers make wine from kits supplied by Winexpert ( Andrew Peller Wines). One out of five bottles consumed in Canada each year is consumer made and when you experience the quality of wines you make with us it is easy to see why. To produce a quality wine you need to start with a quality kit. Over the years we have tried wine kits from the major manufacturers and have yet to find one that offers the consistent, high quality of Winexpert Kits.
We have automatic corkers and easy systems to make your bottling process simple, easy, and fun.
We are conveniently located in the Crockford Mall beside the Restore/Habitat for Humanity at the one end and the Petro-Canada at the other.
Very helpful! Excellent customer service. Told them what I enjoy and they matched it perfectly. Very pleased with my experience there.
They use the best grape packs so the wine always turns out great. Especially enjoy the Australian Shiraz. The owners are friendly and accommodating!
My mom and I are frequent and adoring fans of Westside U-Brew. Bottling our wine at Deb and Gord’s shop in West Kelowna is one of our favourite things to do together; it makes for a great Saturday afternoon! We get awesome recommendations from Deb and Gord and they make the whole experience a breeze. It’s so fun and there’s no better way to stock up on fantastic, affordable wine than to make your own!
Love this place! The owners are friendly and accommodating and the wine is great! Obviously a well run business! You won’t be sorry if you switch your wine-making to Westside U Brew and if you are new to this, they will show you how it’s done.
Deb and Gord Craig run an awesome beer and wine making business here on the Westside, and I’ve been happy with each wine I’ve tasted. They also have cheese making kits available, which others have been excited about. I’m looking forward to my receiving two batches: a reisling and a gewurztraminer.
I highly recommend Westubrew. It’s cost effective. The wine is good. And it’s a fun experience. They have been at this location on Ross Road for 20 years, and it’s fantastic to see the community support our local businesses.
Great people, great service and a pleasure doing business with this family
